CREATING SHAPE
In this first step, the image is intentionally softened or blurred. The goal is to reduce sharpness in certain areas of the image, often to create a dreamy or ethereal effect. Blurring can also help eliminate distractions by softening background elements or unimportant details, allowing the main subject to stand out more clearly. This technique is also useful for controlling depth of field, simulating a shallow focus effect, or reducing noise in areas where clarity isn't critical.
